Welcome to Kirkweb's Pulpit Exchange Page!

Information and details required:-
Having been asked on a number of occasions to provide information on how and where to advertise for a pulpit or summer exchange, I have decided to create a page to facilitate exchanges. This facility is open to any minister or student who would like to exchange pulpits or come for a summer to work within a congregation to gain experience.

If you would like to advertise on this page, please email me for details of costs. If you then wish to have your information posted, you should email me with the details of your exchange and provide the following in around 250 words: Your current situation, i.e. Minister in charge, student etc. Suggested dates and desired country of exchange. If it is a pulpit / manse / car exchange then some details of the parish, manse and the requirements of the exchange, i.e. 1 or 2 services, some pastoral visitation, funerals etc. You should also provide a contact email or snail mail address, or Telephone / Fax number so that you can contact each other.

I will then post the details on the page as they are received and the information will be posted as close to the date received and remain on the page for 3 months from the date of posting. If you manage to get an exchange arranged, please let me know so that your details can be removed. Please also note that I can only post the information on the web page and I do not have the time to assist to transfer information or negotiate on your behalf. Happy Exchanging!

Pulpit Exchange: One month exchange, 2003 (earliest start - any time after July 2003).

Associate Pastor position at a 300-member thriving Presbyterian church in Loomis, California (thirty minutes east of Sacramento). Ministry possibilities include preaching and worship leadership shared with the Senior Pastor, Bible or book study, introducing the congregation to the Church of Scotland through conversations or presentations, and whatever makes good use of your own particular gifts. A three-bedroom house, a car, an office and plenty of hospitality will accompany the position.
